The brand new mini-monitor speaker from   ALR JORDAN, the Classic 1, is to be reviewed in two UK magazines within the next month :

- Adam Smith tests the Classic 1 in a stand-mount supertest in HiFi World's February 2007 issue, due out 30th December;

 - Alvin Gold  reviews the Classic 1 and matching ES72 stands in HIFI CHOICE Issue 290, on sale from 11th January.

The  ALR JORDAN Note 3 stand-mount  speaker is reviewed in the December 2006 edition of HI-FI CHOICE magazine, out now. 

Awarding the Note 3 the best score in the Ultimate Group Test for both Sound and Practicality, reviewer Paul Messenger comments that "the Note 3 proved capable of remarkably impressive results. It combines much of the weight of a floorstander with the agility and freedom from box colouration of a stand-mount".  

Available in Beech, Maple, Cherry and Black Ash wood veneers or Silver as standard, this speaker can also be supplied  in literally any colour, on special order.

PRODUCT NEWS

The  ALR JORDAN Classic 1 mini-monitor speakers are now available in the UK. This latest design from Karl-Heinz Fink is a sealed box two way speaker, aimed at setting new performance standards for high quality mini-monitors.

Available in Alder, Birch or Black Ash wood veneers, this speaker can be supplied with matching ES72 stands for ultimate performance.

London Sound & Vision 2006 - Heathrow
 
Many thanks to those of you who visited the überphon room at the London Sound and Vision show.

The ALR JORDAN Entry L  floorstanders were recently  awarded BEST BUY status in HI-FI CHOICE magazine's Ultimate Group Test of speakers from £400 - £850.

PRODUCT UPDATE

Bi-Wire Adapters
The copper-plated CU version of the PHONOSOPHIE Bi-Wire adapter is now available with either spade connectors or banana plugs to suit different types of  speakers.

For the ultimate performance the AG version is available with the silver plated banana plugs and sockets.

Channa Vithana reviews the PHONOSOPHIE Impuls 2 cd player in the August 2006 edition of HiFi World. 
He concludes that "the Impuls 2 is a strong and credible music  maker with a cohesive and animated sound quality. It's a superb CD player deserving serious attention from those seeking the ultimate from 16 bit."

High-End 2006 - Munich
With over 500 exhibitors this is the largest specialist hi-fi exhibition in Europe, held at the MOC exhibition centre in Munich over four days last month.

Channa Vithana reviews a loom of mains, interconnect and speaker cables from PHONOSOPHIE in the April 2006 edition of HiFi World. 
He concludes that "the Phonosophie combination was superior to my reference cable loom, with better speed, attack, resolution and timbre."

TURNTABLE NEWS

The PHONOSOPHIE Nş3 turntable is now available in the UK with five tonearm options from Kuzma, Naim Audio and Phonosophie and a choice of power supplies from Phonosophie.

In addition the PHONOSOPHIE Nş3 ARO package is available as a limited edition Naim-spec model with the Naim P3PS olive-series power supply developed and used by the late Julian Vereker of Naim Audio, specifically for his Phonosophie Nş 3 turntable.
