PHONOSOPHIE Impuls 2 cd player
This is one of the few exceptional cd players able to provide real insight into the musicians' intention on a recording. Its performance can be further extended through connection to a separate PC2 or PC3 to power analogue circuitry.

PHONOSOPHIE Bi-Control 1 pre-amp
Bettered only by the Bi-Control 2, this pre-amplifier allows the listener to hear into the recorded acoustic with complete clarity. Every nuance in the recording is revealed with subtlety and in perfect focus.

PHONOSOPHIE Power Control 2 power supply
An extremely stable 400VA Toroid transformer lies at the heart of this heavy-weight design. Separately regulated outputs enable both the Pre-Amp and CD player to perform in optimum conditions.

PHONOSOPHIE Bi-Stage 1-4 Twin power-amp
Twin Toroids enable this power-amplifier to deliver its conservatively rated 4x85 watts with ease. The increase in performance is breath-taking - all the power you would expect from a Phonosophie design, whilst never losing control of the music.

ALR JORDAN Note 7 loudspeakers
The Note 7s not only look magnificent, they also sound superb. Designed to be bi-amped, these speakers just love Phonosophie amplification! In addition, the twin rear-mounted passive radiators can be adjusted to tune the speakers precisely to suit room acoustics. It all adds up to massive performance combined with superior value for money.

PHONOSOPHIE LS2 speaker cable
Four 5m lengths of 2x6mm diameter high purity copper cable terminated with 4mm silver-plated speaker plugs. Designed as an integral part of the Phonosophie amplifier output-stage, use of this cable is mandatory for optimum performance from the system.

PHONOSOPHIE Classic rack
Available in silver, dark grey, red or black, model 4BTGS includes top and bottom spikes and has four tiers. The recommended system includes one Q Board and three Control Boards to maximise cd replay quality.

A truly remarkable system which is capable of resolving fine detail whilst delivering massive transient power .

The Impuls 2 cd player itself delivers exceptional performance. Featuring a disc-floating mechanism and additional error correction, this player lays bare the fine detail in the recording whilst losing none of the rhythmic punch familiar to Phonosophie system owners.

The Bi-Control 1 pre-amp powered by the highly stable 400VA Power Control 2 power supply is a formidable combination. Whilst gaining the performance advantage of separate Pre and Power amplification, further benefit can be derived from the Power Control 2 by using it to power both the Pre-amp stage and the analogue circuitry in the Impuls 2 cd player.

Power amplification from the twin-transformer, four channel Bi-Stage 1-4 Twin is designed to deliver 4 x 85 watts effortlessly. It does not disappoint.

Performance of the system is further enhanced by supporting the cd player using an Artkustik Animator-Quartz Q Board on the Phonosophie Classic rack. All other electronic components are placed on Control Boards, although Q Boards could be used to audible advantage, but at additional cost.

The ALR Jordan Note 7 loudspeakers are stunning speakers both visually and sonically. Standard finishes include Cherry, Maple, Black and Silver but virtually any colour and finish can be specified.
